Another Win In the Bag 2-0 St Martins Vs Sundon Park Rangers

GOAL! GOoal! 2-0

Thaibe Onje
Well done boys, as we come out from the game with our record of unbeaten still 100%intact. What a football match this was! Great stuff all around –I gather this to be the hardest match to have played in the recent time. Sundon Park Rangers Purples U8 were not gone take a losing game back home as the made it hard for our boys all through the game. We held the ground well and defended neatly as usual letting the game to be played on the opponent half pitch and at last there was only one winning team – The might St Martins Spotif winning 2-0 with the second goal being a beauty from Ernest Njoroge free Kick loop over the helpless Sundon Park defence and goalkeeper.

Kanu Reginald
Overall, we saw all players generate their finest game ever including the smallest player in our team Amari Paris-Chance. Other – just to mention a few , were Kienan Malone strong as usual, Musau Mwendo – reliable at the back, ( both last week’s player and supporting player of the Match winners) Rio Drew always hard working and trying to create scoring the first goal, Lathan Ward, Luca De Michele again great game and lastly Kanu Reginald. He was brilliant with the ball earning him the supporting man of the match trophy. However, today’s man of the match was swift in clearing the ball from danger and showed outstanding quality when given the defending fullback position to manager on the second half – congratulations Thaibe Onje - great improvement

St Martins Sportiff 10 - 0 E.B Lions

Obviously the Christmas festive did not affect the Sportif today, the players played like true premiership players.
Opening goal by Daylan Campbell followed by Luca De Michele, Kanu Reginald and Thaibe Onje.
By half-time the Saints were up by 6 - 0 and Thaibe scoring 2 lovely goals, who doesn't usually play striker.
Luca De Michele (Player of the Match)
In the second half the turkey and stuffing wasn't telling on the boys they played absolute brilliant football, with excellent passing and playing as a team.  The scorers in the second half was, Luca, Ernest and Kanu, which ended the game 10 - 0.
Big up to Luca de Michele who scored his first hat-trick and was announced the player of the match.

Coach Ben would like to give a Big...Big Up to every St Martin player, who played excellent today.
Well Done Lads!!

Goal !!! 4 - 1 Against Ferrars

Goal! Goal !  Goal! 4-1

St Martin’s Sportif 4 - 1 Ferrars Infant School

What a performance! Another wonderful display by the Sportif young stars - Great stuff all around
This game was to me a masterpiece with every player showing determination to win and at the same time producing quality movement with and without the ball. Two very special goals from Kanu Reginald set the game rolling with a third goal from Lathan Ward settling the first half.

The second half was also very eventful with a good footwork from both full center defenders Musau Mwendo and Kienan Malone; both showing some quality control and quick movements with ball up to the goalmouth with Kienan scoring one of the best goals of the season. This guy Kienan Malone (centre back) is up there with most goals of this season.

To sum up the friendly game; is when we saw Lathan Ward play very impressive defender racking him to my opinion as the man of the match. Let not forget to mention the Ferrars primary School’s best player - their goalkeeper who kept their team alive and kicking.
